Ready-made dataset
Crawlora’s current indexed catalog snapshot includes 2,607,895 apps on the Apple App Store and 3,341,719 on Google Play — with categories, ratings, pricing, install scale, and a cross-store popularity ranking. Browse the interactive data study and query it through the Datasets API.

11 documented Google Play endpoints, grouped into 11 request families — App, Categories and Datasafety, plus 8 more.
59 request parameters are documented across those Google Play endpoints, 20 of them required — the full input contract is public before you write any integration code.
11 of the 11 Google Play endpoints ship a recorded example response, and 11 carry a documented response schema — you can code against the real JSON before the first request.
Google Play endpoints document their error responses (400, 404, 429 and 500) alongside the success schema, so a block, a rate limit, or a missing record comes back as a typed error rather than silently empty data.
11 hosted MCP tools back the Google Play endpoints, so an agent can call the same routes with the same parameters and the same JSON contract, with no custom glue.

Catálogo de endpoints
/googleplay/appReturns app metadata from a Google Play details page, including installs, ratings, pricing, version info, developer metadata, media assets, release state, selected user comments, and "More by this developer" and "Similar apps" recommendation rails. For a per-device (phone/tablet/Chromebook) ratings-and-reviews breakdown, see `/googleplay/ratings`. Defaults: `country=us`, `lang=en`.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_app
/googleplay/categoriesLists the Google Play app categories and subcategories, each with an id such as `PRODUCTIVITY` and a display name. `country` and `lang` take two-letter codes to pick the storefront and the language of the names.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_categories
/googleplay/datasafetyReturns the data safety section Google Play shows for an app, by the required `app_id`. It lists the data the app collects and shares, each with its type, purpose and whether it is optional, plus the app's security practices and privacy policy URL. `lang` sets the language.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_datasafety
/googleplay/developer/{dev_id}Lists the Google Play apps published by one developer, by developer id or name, for an optional country and language. `num` sets how many apps to return, and `full_detail=true` resolves each app to its full detail record instead of the listing summary. Returns the developer id and name with the app list.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_developer
/googleplay/listLists apps from a Google Play chart. `collection` is `TOP_FREE`, `TOP_PAID`, `GROSSING`, `NEW_FREE` or `NEW_PAID`, and `category`, `device`, `age`, `num`, `country` and `lang` narrow it. Set `full_detail` to get full app details instead of the compact card.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_list
/googleplay/permissionsReturns the permissions a Google Play app requests, by the required `app_id`. Each entry has the permission name and its type. Set `short` to get only the permission names as a flat list. `country` and `lang` pick the storefront and language.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_permissions
/googleplay/ratingsReturns the ratings-and-reviews breakdown Google Play shows under the details page's device tabs, one entry each for phone, tablet, and Chromebook. Defaults: `country=us`, `lang=en`.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_ratings
/googleplay/reviewsReturns Google Play reviews for an app by `app_id`. `sort` is `newest` (default), `helpfulness` or `rating`, and `num` is up to 1000 per request (default 100). Each review has its text, score, date, thumbs-up count, app version and any developer reply. Pass `next_pagination_token` back to continue.
Notas de la respuesta
- Reviews are returned under `data.data`. When more reviews are available than were returned, `data.next_pagination_token` is populated; pass it back as `next_pagination_token` to continue from where the previous response ended. - `num` is collected across several upstream pages; the response may still carry a `next_pagination_token` for reviews beyond `num`. To read more than the per-request maximum, follow the token across successive requests. - An empty result means the app has no further matching reviews — not that the app is missing from the store. Confirm app presence with `/googleplay/app` or `/googleplay/list`.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_reviews
/googleplay/searchSearches Google Play for apps matching the required `term`, up to `num` results (default 20, max 250). `price` is `all` (default), `free` or `paid`, and `country` and `lang` default to `us` and `en`. A strong exact match is placed first. An empty list means no apps matched.
Notas de la respuesta
- Results come from Google Play's `/store/search` listing. When the term has a strong exact match, Google renders it as a separate featured card; that app is prepended to `data` so the most relevant result is first. - An empty `data` array means the query genuinely returned no apps — it does **not** mean a specific app is missing from the store. To confirm an app's presence, look it up directly with `googleplay_app` (by package name) or `googleplay_list`. - A blocked, redirected, or shape-changed upstream response is returned as a typed upstream error (HTTP 503), never as `200` with an empty array.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_search
/googleplay/similarReturns the apps in the Similar apps cluster on a Google Play app page, for the required `app_id`. `num` limits how many are returned, `country` and `lang` set the storefront and language, and `full_detail` returns full app details instead of compact cards.
Herramienta MCP googleplay_similar
/googleplay/suggest/{term}Returns up to 10 Google Play search suggestions for the term prefix in the path. `country` and `lang` take two-letter codes to pick the storefront and language. Each suggestion is a `term`.

Cómo hacer scraping de Google Play
Google Play has no official public data API for listings, reviews, or rankings — only the Play Developer API for your own apps. Crawlora's Google Play endpoints return app metadata, reviews, permissions, data-safety, rankings, and search as structured JSON, without maintaining an Android scraper. A pull on 2026-10-27 listed 54 category constants and returned 10 meditation apps, the first identified by an app id that does not match its name.
Run a Google Play search, browse a category or top-charts list, or target an app by its package ID.
/googleplay/app?app_id=com.openai.chatgpt returned installs as the text 1,000,000,000+ beside min_installs 1000000000. /googleplay/ratings returned a phone score of 4.7815967 (4.8 as text) on 2026-10-30.
/googleplay/reviews?num=25 returned 250 rows with a next_pagination_token, so num sizes the request but a batch can be larger than asked. Pass the token back for the next batch.
/googleplay/datasafety returned 11 collected_data entries, 1 shared_data entry, 2 security practices and a privacy policy URL. /googleplay/permissions returns nested permission groups, so flatten them before counting.
categories returned 54 uppercase constants starting with APPLICATION, which are the values for the category filter.
search for meditation with num 10 returned 10 apps, led by Insight Timer - Meditation App whose app_id is com.spotlightsix.zentimerlite2. Never derive an id from the title.

Send a search query or app package ID to Crawlora's Google Play endpoints and get app metadata, reviews, permissions, rankings, and search results as structured JSON — no Android scraper to maintain. Collect public data and respect Google's terms.
Google Play has no official public API for listings, reviews, or rankings — only the Play Developer API for apps you own. Crawlora covers app detail, search, categories, top-charts lists, permissions, data-safety, reviews, similar apps, and suggestions across public listings in one JSON shape.
Collecting publicly accessible app listing and review data is generally permissible if you respect Google's terms of use, robots directives, rate limits, and applicable law. This is for public data you are authorized to collect.
Because ids are package names set by the developer. Insight Timer's was com.spotlightsix.zentimerlite2 on 2026-10-27.
