Fortune API endpoint
Searches Fortune's company directory, 30 companies per page, with `page` starting at 1. Filter by `search` (company name), `country`, `industry` (exact title), `ranking` with `year`, and ranges `min_revenue` and `max_revenue` (in $M) and `min_employees` and `max_employees`. Each item has name, slug, URL, country, revenues and description. Invalid `country` or `industry` values return `400`.
/fortune/companiesSearches Fortune's public company directory -- 9,097 companies as of 2026-09-23, every company Fortune has ever featured on one or more of its rankings. Returns 30 companies per page.
Query parameters:
search (optional): case-insensitive company-name search.country (optional): a country/territory slug or title from /fortune/companies/filters, e.g. china.industry (optional): the exact industry title from /fortune/companies/filters, e.g. Computer Software. Industry values are titles, not slugs.ranking (optional): a Fortune ranking slug to filter to companies that appear on that ranking (a subset of /fortune/ranking/lists; call /fortune/companies/filters for the exact accepted set). For example fortune500.year (optional): the ranking year the ranking filter is evaluated against. Defaults to the current year.min_revenue / max_revenue (optional): revenue range in $M.min_employees / max_employees (optional): employee-count range.page (optional): 1-based page number, default 1.country and industry are large, upstream-defined value spaces; invalid values return a 400 rather than an empty result. /fortune/companies/filters is the discovery endpoint for the exact accepted country, industry, and ranking values.
