GoodRx API endpoint
Returns a health condition's GoodRx overview article as titled sections (definition, types, causes, symptoms, diagnosis, medications, treatments, prevention, references), with the condition's alternate name, authors, publish and modified dates, the medications-list URL, and related articles. Use a slug from /goodrx/conditions.
/goodrx/conditionQuery parameters:
slug (required): condition slug from /api/v1/goodrx/conditions (for example acne or flu).Returns the condition name and alternate_name, the article headline, description, authors, publish and modified dates, sections (each with an id derived from its heading, the title, and text items; headings vary by condition, for example Definition, Causes, Symptoms, Treatments, Prevention, References), medications_url when a medications list exists (see /api/v1/goodrx/condition-drugs), and related articles. Unknown conditions return 404.
Recent results are reused: a verified response is served for up to 30 minutes, and GoodRx refuses automated traffic for an hour or more at times. When every live attempt is refused, the last verified response (at most about a day old) is returned instead of an error, with X-Availability-Mode: stale and its age in X-Availability-Last-Success-Age-Seconds. Check those headers to tell a retained copy from a live one. A response returned as stale is billed 1 credit instead of the endpoint's full price.
