GoodRx API endpoint
Returns one GoodRx Health article: headline, description, authors, medical reviewers, published and modified dates, category tag, key takeaways, the body as headed sections of paragraphs and lists, FAQs, references, and related medications. Requests use US egress because GoodRx is US-only.
/goodrx/health-articleQuery parameters:
path (required): article path from /api/v1/goodrx/health-articles (for example well-being/sleep/cbd-for-sleep), or the article's https://www.goodrx.com/... URL. Paths must be <section>/<topic>/<article>, <drug>/<article>, or hcp/clinical-resources/<topic>/<article>; other values return 400, and unknown articles return 404.Returns the section, topic, slug, headline, description, authors, reviewed_by (medical reviewers), date_published, date_modified, the category tags, key_takeaways, the body as sections (each with an optional title, paragraphs, and lists of items; a list that GoodRx introduces with its fixed drug-interaction wording also carries a severity of not_recommended, usually_not_recommended, or increased_risk), faqs, references, and related_drugs (price-page slugs) when the article lists them. Requests use US egress because GoodRx is US-only.
Recent results are reused: a verified response is served for up to 30 minutes, and GoodRx refuses automated traffic for an hour or more at times. When every live attempt is refused, the last verified response (at most about a day old) is returned instead of an error, with X-Availability-Mode: stale and its age in X-Availability-Last-Success-Age-Seconds. Check those headers to tell a retained copy from a live one. A response returned as stale is billed 1 credit instead of the endpoint's full price.
