GQ API endpoint
Returns public GQ article metadata and body paragraphs from a canonical story URL. A story GQ marks as subscriber-only returns a 403 permission error instead of partial text.
/gq/articleQuery parameter: required url, a canonical GQ story URL (https://www.gq.com/story/<slug>). Query strings and fragments are stripped and the URL is canonicalized to https://www.gq.com.
Returns one public GQ article's metadata (title, description, published_at, updated_at, section, authors, image_url) plus its body paragraphs in order.
Behavior:
403 instead of a body. No truncated or fabricated text is ever returned. Every story sampled while building this endpoint was free.503./story/ URLs on gq.com are accepted. Galleries (/gallery/), videos, section pages, and other hosts return 400 before any upstream request.404.| Field | In the sample | Value in the sample |
