Gulf News API endpoint

Gulf News author profile API

Returns a Gulf News author profile, identified by `slug` (such as `nathaniel-lacsina`) or by a canonical `gulfnews.com/author/<slug>` `url`; provide exactly one. The response has the name, job title, bio and the single page of recent articles on the profile, each with `title`, `url` and sometimes a `summary`. Unknown authors return not found.

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters:

slug (optional): an author slug, e.g. nathaniel-lacsina. Some slugs carry a role suffix, e.g. shamseer-mohammed-staff-writer; use the slug from the author's byline link.
url (optional): a canonical https://gulfnews.com/author/<slug> URL, as an alternative to slug.

Exactly one of slug/url is required. The response is the single page of recent articles shown on the author's profile page (no further pagination); each article has title, url, and, when the card shows one, a summary. An unknown author returns a not-found error.
