Healthgrades hospital award filters API

Returns the filter values Healthgrades offers for one hospital award list: list sizes, specialty codes, Ob-Gyn award types, award years, states with recipients, and (with a state) cities with recipient counts, plus the sort options. Each group's param names the /healthgrades/hospital-awards parameter that accepts its values.

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters:

award (required): one of americas-best-hospitals, specialty-excellence-americas-best-care, patient-safety-excellence-award, outstanding-patient-experience-award, ob-gyn-care-excellence-awards, state-rankings.
state (optional): state slug, to also list that state's cities.
year (optional): award year.

Returns the award, the sorts (name, distance), and filters; each group's param names the /api/v1/healthgrades/hospital-awards parameter that accepts its values: list (top250, top100, top50; America's Best Hospitals), list_category (Specialty Excellence list sizes for the specialty), specialty (specialty codes such as CVO), ob_gyn_type (GYS, LAB, OBG), year (the award years offered, for example 2026, 2025, 2024), state (states with recipients), and city (with a state: cities with recipient counts). Values and availability vary by award, year, and state.
