Irish Independent article API
Returns public Irish Independent article metadata (headline, description, section, authors, publish/update times, lead image) and body paragraphs from a canonical article URL. Premium articles are served to anonymous readers as a one-paragraph teaser; those are returned with paywalled set to true and only the teaser paragraph.

How this endpoint behaves
Query parameter: url (required) is an Irish Independent article URL in the canonical https://www.independent.ie/<section>[/<subsection>...]/<slug>/a/<id>.html form. independent.ie without www, and tracking query strings, are accepted and normalized; section, author, tag, search, and other non-article URLs return 400.
Returns the article's title, description (the standfirst), section (the most specific section, such as Golf or Analysis), authors, published_at and updated_at (RFC 3339, UTC), image_url, paywalled, and paragraphs. Agency copy can have no authors. Sub-headings, pull quotes, image captions, embeds, and "Read more" cards are not included in paragraphs.
Paywall behaviour: premium (subscriber) articles are cut off by the publisher itself. An anonymous request receives the headline, standfirst, and only the first paragraph. For those articles the endpoint returns paywalled: true with just that teaser paragraph; it never presents the teaser as the full article. paywalled is omitted when the full public body was returned. About half of the articles sampled at build time were premium.
A page with no readable text body (a podcast episode, or a live blog whose text is loaded by a script) returns 503. A URL that no longer exists returns 404.
