MacRumors API endpoint
Returns a MacRumors article by `url`: a dated news post, or a `/guide/`, `/how-to/` or `/review/` page. The response has the title, description, section, authors, lead image, publish time, `updated_at` and body `paragraphs`. Roundup, author and forum URLs are rejected. Reviews have no `updated_at`, and `paywalled` is omitted.
/macrumors/articleQuery parameter: url is a canonical HTTPS article URL on www.macrumors.com (or macrumors.com) in one of four shapes: a dated news post https://www.macrumors.com/2026/09/24/google-photos-wardrobe-ios/, or /guide/<slug>/, /how-to/<slug>/ or /review/<slug>/. Roundup, author, archive and forum URLs, other hosts and non-HTTPS URLs return an invalid-params error.
The endpoint returns public metadata (title, description, published_at, updated_at, section, authors, image_url) and the full body paragraphs: paragraphs, sub-headings and bullet items in page order. MacRumors articles were freely readable without an account in every sample checked, so paywalled is omitted. Embedded video/tweet blocks, image captions, the "Related Roundup"/tag footer and related-story widgets are not included. Guide pages that are mostly link lists (for example the iOS mega guide) return each link title as one entry. Review pages have no updated_at, and their section is Reviews.
