Mediaite API endpoint
Returns public Mediaite article metadata and body paragraphs from a canonical article URL. Mediaite One Sheet (premium) pages are flagged paywalled.
/mediaite/articleQuery parameter: url is a canonical HTTPS mediaite.com article URL such as https://www.mediaite.com/media/tv/<slug>/, /politics/trump/<slug>/, /opinion/<slug>/, /columnists/<slug>/, /online/<slug>/, /crime/<slug>/ or /premium/<slug>/. Query strings and fragments are dropped. Author, category, tag and sponsored URLs are rejected.
Returns title, description, publish and update time, category, authors, lead image and body paragraphs. Mediaite One Sheet pages (/premium/) carry a subscribe gate; they return paywalled: true with whatever preview paragraphs the site serves to an anonymous reader. Example gated URL: https://www.mediaite.com/premium/mediaite-one-sheet-how-will-trump-respond-after-court-order-pausing-white-house-press-ban/.
