MLB API endpoint
Returns team-level Sprint Speed rows. Season is selected upstream; team filtering and sorting are applied locally because the first-party page embeds every team before its client-side filter. Use mlb_discovery for all accepted seasons, teams, and sort fields.

season (optional): 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, or all. Defaults to 2026.team (optional): LAA, HOU, OAK, TOR, ATL, MIL, STL, CHC, ARI, LAD, SF, CLE, SEA, MIA, NYM, WSH, BAL, SD, PHI, PIT, TEX, TB, BOS, CIN, COL, KC, DET, MIN, CWS, or NYY.sort (optional): season, team, players, competitive_runs, average_sprint_speed, fastest_sprint_speed, slowest_sprint_speed, bolts, or average_home_to_first. Defaults to average_sprint_speed.sort_dir (optional): asc or desc; defaults to desc.limit (optional): 1–500; defaults to 100.offset (optional): 0–5000; defaults to 0.x-api-key (required): API key.Response behavior: Season selects the upstream dataset. The source page embeds all 30 teams and applies the team selector in browser code, so the API validates the selected abbreviation and filters rows locally. The page currently maps OAK to team ID 133 and ARI to 109. season=all contains 30 rows for each year from 2015 through 2026. Rows preserve upstream fields such as timeframe, team_id, name_display_club, Num_players, Num_competitive_runs, avg_sprint_speed, fastest_sprint_speed, slowest_sprint_speed, N_bolts, and avg_HP_to_1B.
