How this endpoint behaves
Query parameter: url is required and must be a canonical HTTPS www.ndtv.com story URL ending in <slug>-<story id>, for example /india-news/<slug>-12091489 or /health/news/<slug>-12091424. Tracking query strings and fragments are stripped. Video, photo, web-story, and author pages are rejected with a 400; a story NDTV no longer serves returns 404.
Returns the headline, description, publication and update times (UTC, RFC 3339), section, authors, lead image, and body paragraphs. Embedded social posts, scripts, and in-body "Also Read" promotions are left out. Live blogs return their updates as paragraphs.
premium is true when NDTV marks the story as NDTV Premium (not free to access). paragraphs is always the text NDTV serves on its public page to a visitor who is not signed in; nothing is unlocked by signing in.
