New York Daily News API endpoint
Lists the 36 New York Daily News section slugs accepted by `nydailynews-headlines`, such as `crime-public-safety`, `new-york-mets`, `nfl` and `things-to-do`. Each entry has its `slug` (the last path segment of the section URL), display `name` and `url`. Topic (`/tag/...`) pages and off-site properties are not sections.
/nydailynews/sectionsReturns the complete public section inventory accepted by /api/v1/nydailynews/headlines: 36 sections drawn from nydailynews.com's own navigation, as checked on 2026-09-25: news, crime-public-safety, politics, new-york-politics, business, health, national, world, local-news, new-york-news, education, transportation, news-obituaries, sports, mlb, new-york-yankees, new-york-mets, nfl, new-york-giants, new-york-jets, nba, new-york-knicks, brooklyn-nets, wnba, new-york-liberty, nhl, new-york-rangers, new-york-islanders, soccer, opinion, editorials, viva, things-to-do, restaurants-food-drink, horoscopes, best-reviews.
Each section includes a stable slug (the last path segment of the section URL), display name, and public upstream url. Obituaries, topic (/tag/...) pages, and off-site properties are not sections here.
