Phys.org API endpoint
Returns current stories from one Phys.org feed. The accepted values are the seven Topics menu feeds plus the Breaking and Editorials feeds. Search and tag feeds are not included.
/physorg/headlinesQuery parameter: required section, one of nanotech-news, physics-news, space-news, earth-news, chemistry-news, biology-news, science-news, breaking, or editorials. Use /api/v1/physorg/sections to discover these values.
Notable response behavior: returns stories from the selected public RSS feed. Invalid section values are rejected before an upstream request.
Start from the checked request: GET /physorg/headlines?section=physics-news. Live check on 2026-10-14: 30 items returned. Fields present in every checked item: title, url, summary, published_at.
Resolve a returned canonical story URL with Get a Phys.org article.
