Notable response behavior:

Uses Rotten Tomatoes' anonymous WordPress REST search and returns each result's content subtype, permalink, and page totals.
Results can include third-party publication links; the endpoint returns those source URLs without fetching them.
An empty results array with total: 0 is a valid no-results response. Missing pagination headers or malformed rows are upstream errors.
