The Denver Post API endpoint
Returns article metadata and paragraphs present on the public page. Subscriber-only pages may expose only an anonymous preview; this service does not bypass access controls.
/denverpost/articleQuery parameter: url must be an absolute HTTPS URL on denverpost.com or www.denverpost.com with a dated path /YYYY/MM/DD/<slug>/. Section, author, non-Denver Post, and undated URLs are rejected.
The parser reads h1.entry-title, .byline a.author-name[rel=author], .time time[datetime], and paragraphs under .article-body .body-copy. It uses the public HTML returned for an anonymous request. Some pages can be metered or subscriber-limited; the endpoint reports only paragraphs present in that response and does not bypass gates. The sample page had isAccessibleForFree:false in JSON-LD while its full body was returned to an anonymous request; that observation does not imply reuse rights or guarantee other pages expose full text.
