The Hill API endpoint

The Hill author profile API

Returns a The Hill author's profile by `url`, a canonical `thehill.com/author/<slug>/` link: name, job title, bio, image URL and recent articles with title, URL, category and category URL. `job_title` and `image_url` may be missing, and each article's `published_at` is relative text such as `10 hours ago`, not a timestamp.

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters:

url (required): a canonical https://thehill.com/author/<slug>/ URL.

job_title and image_url reflect whatever The Hill's own byline page shows for that author -- not every author page carries a photo or a job title. Each article's published_at is the page's own rendered relative date text (for example 10 hours ago); no machine-readable timestamp is present in the markup.
