How this endpoint behaves
Returns the section inventory accepted by /api/v1/townhall/headlines, verified live 2026-09-25: news, columnists, 2026-elections, congress, donald-trump, economy, foreign-policy, illegal-immigration, iran, supreme-court.
news and columnists are Townhall's public news and opinion-column feeds (20 items each). The other eight are the topic hubs the site itself promotes from its home page and menu; each lists the 30 latest stories tagged with that topic. Townhall's full topic directory is an open tag taxonomy of hundreds of people, places and issues, so only the site-promoted hubs are offered. Each section has a stable slug, a display name, and the public page url.
