Yahoo News API endpoint
Returns a page of a comment's replies: author, body, reaction counts, and pin status, with sort order and cursor-based pagination. Sourced from Yahoo's own comment platform gateway.

/yahoo-news/comments, via a sibling query keyed on the parent comment.
Query parameters:
content_id (required) — the article id, i.e. the id field returned
by /yahoo-news/home, /yahoo-news/category, or /yahoo-news/article.comment_id (required) — the parent comment id, i.e. the id field of
an item returned by /yahoo-news/comments.sort (optional) — reply sort order. One of newest, oldest.
Defaults to newest. Narrower than /yahoo-news/comments's sort:
Yahoo's own reply-thread UI has no sort control and its top/popular
ranking values are rejected by the upstream API for replies.cursor (optional) — pagination cursor, taken from a previous
response's next_cursor. Omit for the first page.count (optional) — number of replies to return, default 10, clamped
to 1-50.Notable response behavior:
total_count is the comment's total reply count, independent of
count/pagination.has_next_page/next_cursor drive pagination the same way as
/yahoo-news/comments.comment_id with no replies, or one that does not belong to
content_id, returns a successful empty page (total_count: 0,
items: []) rather than an error, matching Yahoo's own upstream
behavior.pinned flag (pinning is a top-level-comment-only
