Yahoo Sports API endpoint
Returns one team detail record. Use league=soccer for Yahoo's flat soccer team namespace, or a league key from yahoo-sports-leagues for its own team page. Team slugs come from scoreboard or standings records.

Query parameters:
league: required enum. Allowed values: nfl, nba, wnba, mlb, nhl, college-football, college-basketball, college-womens-basketball, soccer, mls, premier-league, la-liga, serie-a, bundesliga, ligue-1, champions-league, nwsl, ligamx-apertura, ligamx-clausura, copa-america, club-world-cup, world-cup, concacaf-champions-cup, concacaf-gold-cup, concacaf-league, womens-world-cup, europa-league, euro-championship.team: required. A Yahoo Sports team slug, e.g. green-bay, la-lakers, boston. Get one from the scoreboard or standings response's team.url (the last path segment), or from the team list embedded in Yahoo's own site nav.For soccer, team identity is global across competitions: league=soccer or a direct soccer league key uses Yahoo's flat /soccer/teams/{team}/ namespace. The team slug still comes from a source scoreboard, roster, or team record.
Notable response behavior:
team is looked up by matching the requested slug against the page's own team links, so an unknown slug returns a not-found error rather than a wrong team.record reflects Yahoo's current-season record; preseason/off-season windows may show 0-0.league/team values return an invalid-parameter error before upstream IO; an unknown team slug returns a 404.| Field | In the sample | Value in the sample |
