Yardbarker API endpoint
Lists recent Yardbarker headlines with short summaries for one section. `section` is required and takes a typed slug from `yardbarker-sections`, such as `sport_1`, `team_18`, `school_506` or `topic_16979`. Items have title, URL, summary, author, time and image. Unknown slugs return a 400 error.
/yardbarker/headlinesQuery parameters:
section (required): a typed slug returned by /api/v1/yardbarker/sections, such as sport_1, team_18, school_506, or topic_16979.Returns recent headline metadata and short RSS summaries for one section. The RSS feed's long-form content:encoded field is not returned. Unknown section slugs return a 400 error.
Start from the checked request: GET /yardbarker/headlines?section=sport_1. Live check on 2026-10-14: 17 items returned. Fields present in every checked item: title, url, summary, published_at, image_url.
