Restored JSON compatibility endpoint. Returns current Google News articles. Pages slice the finite current result snapshot. Uses the legacy result array and field names; no-results searches and exhausted pages return an empty result array.
14 Oct 2026: 10 result; 6 fields had a value in every checked item; 1 field was empty in this sample.
Sample value profiles: position: 1 to 10, median 5; website_name: “Yahoo Finance” and 8 other values; icon: media.zenfs.com and 9 other hosts.
