How this endpoint behaves

Returns every public ranking accepted by the list parameter on /fortune/ranking, /fortune/ranking/years, and /fortune/ranking/filters -- the Fortune 500 franchise's regional/global "500" variants (first 5, including Fortune China 500) plus Fortune's separate family of award and culture rankings (best workplaces, most powerful people, innovation, and more), 104 lists total as of 2026-09-23. Each entry is a distinct ranking with its own year inventory and filter fields; /fortune/ranking/filters?list=... is authoritative for the exact fields and values of a given list.

fortune500 is the default when list is omitted. region is populated for regional rankings, including fortune-china-500 (China); it is omitted for the great majority, which are not region-scoped.
