New York Times API endpoint
Returns one New York Times contributor's public byline page: name, tagline, About/Contact panels, and their recent articles from a canonical author URL.
/nyt/authorReturns one New York Times contributor's public byline page: name, tagline, the "About" and "Contact Me" panels, and their recent articles from the page's own "Latest" stream.
Parameters:
url: required; a canonical https://www.nytimes.com/by/<slug> contributor URL.x-api-key: required API key.about is a list of heading/paragraph groups exactly as the page's own "About" panel presents them (e.g. "What I Cover", "My Background", and, for some contributors, additional sections such as "Journalistic Ethics") -- the set of headings varies per contributor and is not a fixed enum. contact is a list of labeled rows from the page's own "Contact Me" panel (Email, X, Blue Sky, Threads, Anonymous tips, ...); the set of platforms shown also varies per contributor. articles comes from the page's own "Latest" stream (further "Load More" pages are not returned); each article's authors lists every byline name, not just this contributor, since NYT articles are frequently multi-byline.
