New York Times API endpoint
Lists the public New York Times editorial navigation taxonomy, including top-level categories and nested destinations. Use /nyt/sections for the separately verified RSS-backed section values accepted by /nyt/headlines; product links, newsletters, and podcasts are not included as article categories.
/nyt/categoriesTakes no parameters.
Returns the public New York Times editorial navigation taxonomy. Each top-level category has a slug, display name, public url, and optional nested sections with the same fields. This is a navigation directory and includes destinations such as Politics, Climate, DealBook, Personal Tech, Wirecutter, and The Athletic that are not standalone NYT RSS feeds. Use nyt-sections to discover the exact RSS-backed values accepted by nyt-headlines.
Newsletters, podcasts, and account-only links are excluded. Product destinations that NYT exposes in its primary editorial navigation are retained as top-level navigation categories, but are not valid nyt-headlines section values.
