Sporting News article API
Returns a Sporting News US article by canonical `url`, such as `https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/dallas-cowboys/news/<slug>/<id>`: title, description, section (the sport or topic in the URL, for example `NFL`), authors, publication and update times, image and body `paragraphs`. Tables, embeds, ad slots and related-story lists are excluded. Non-US editions and hub pages are rejected.

How this endpoint behaves
Query parameter: url is a canonical HTTPS Sporting News US article URL of the form https://www.sportingnews.com/us/<sport>/[<team-or-topic>/]news/<slug>/<24-character id> (or .../watch/<slug>/<id>), e.g. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/dallas-cowboys/news/cowboys-george-pickens-production-way-down/30f07d65f36691600b3f97ba. Section hubs, author pages, feeds, non-US editions (/uk/, /au/, ...), the /api/ paths and other hosts return an invalid-params error. Any query string is dropped before the request.
The endpoint returns public metadata (title, description, published_at, updated_at, section, authors, image_url) and the body paragraphs (paragraphs and list items; tables, embedded posts, video players, ad slots, "More ... news" related-story lists and sponsor call-outs such as "BUY NOW: ..." are not included). section is the sport or topic named in the URL, for example NFL or Tickets.
Paywall behavior: no paywall was observed. Sporting News serves the full body of every sampled article to an anonymous request, so paywalled is omitted; no gated example URL was found. The site runs a registration widget but does not gate story text.
