Sportskeeda API endpoint

Sportskeeda player or team profile API

Returns a Sportskeeda player or team profile by host-free `slug`, such as `player/jannik-sinner` or `nfl/green-bay-packers`. The response has its name, `kind`, a description, fact rows as name and value pairs (names vary by sport), and any news cards. A page without fact rows returns an upstream error.

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameter: slug (required) is a player or team profile path without the hostname, such as player/jannik-sinner, team/new-york-yankees, or nfl/green-bay-packers. Discover profile slugs through /sportskeeda/taxonomy-search, /sportskeeda/sections, or the player and team sitemaps.

Header: x-api-key (required).

Returns the profile name, kind, public fact rows, description, and any article cards present on the page. The fact names are supplied by Sportskeeda and vary by sport. A page without profile fact rows returns an upstream error.
