How this endpoint behaves

Parameters: none.

Returns Sportskeeda's current side-menu hierarchy and its full public sports landing-page set. navigation preserves parent and child labels, host-free slugs, canonical URLs, ordering, and the external marker. External links have no slug. sections comes from Sportskeeda's sports.xml sitemap and includes its canonical path and last-modified time. The live menu currently has 24 groups and 269 child links; the sports sitemap currently has 67 URLs. These values are discovered from the upstream on each request, so new categories and topics appear without a code release.

The navigation includes mixed destinations such as schedules, standings, stat pages, event hubs, player pages, games, wikis, and editions. The endpoint returns these as links and does not claim that every destination is a news listing. External destinations are included for inventory completeness and marked external: true.

Notable response behavior: missing navigation markers, malformed XML, or empty section data return an upstream error. Requesting this endpoint does not follow any returned links.
