Returns one Variety article by its canonical `variety.com` `url`, in the form `/<year>/<vertical>/<subcategory>/<slug>-<id>/`. The response has the title, description, authors, section, published and updated times, lead image, body `paragraphs` and a `paywalled` flag.

Returns a Variety author profile with name, biography, photo, social links and one page of recent articles. Give either `slug` (such as `ellise-shafer`) or an author `url`, which may include a `/page/<n>/` segment; `page` (default 1) overrides it. `has_next_page` shows whether another page exists.
Optional: slug, url, page.

Lists fresh Variety headlines for one vertical. `section` is required and takes a slug such as `film`, `music`, `tv`, `biz`, `awards`, `gaming`, `global`, `legit` or `vip`; `variety-sections` lists all 24. Each item has its title and URL, plus summary, author, publication time and image when the outlet provides them.
Required: section (24 allowed values: artisans, awards, biz, data, digital, dirt, film, gaming, global, legit, music, politics, scene, shopping, sports, streaming, theater, tune-in, tv, video, vintage, vip, vivant, voices).
