Wall Street Journal API endpoint
Returns one Wall Street Journal article's title, byline, publication time, word count, and body paragraphs, recovered from a public web-archive snapshot of the article. WSJ serves only the first paragraphs of premium articles at the origin, so an article is returned only when a full-text archive snapshot exists; an article without one returns 404.
/wsj/articleQuery parameter: required url, a canonical Wall Street Journal article URL (e.g. https://www.wsj.com/articles/cpi-inflation-report-july-2026-6381275d). Query strings and fragments are stripped; the URL is canonicalized to https://www.wsj.com.
Returns one Wall Street Journal article — title, author, published_at, archive_url, archive_timestamp, word_count, and the body paragraphs in order — recovered from a public web-archive snapshot of the article.
Behavior:
404. A snapshot that exists but carries no article body (an empty capture, or a bot-blocked page) returns 503 rather than a hollow success.400 before any upstream request.| Parameter | Type | Required | Default | Description | Example |
