Managed execution
Every figure below is read from the live DailyWire endpoint catalog — 5 endpoints, 9 documented request parameters, and 5 published response schemas — the same catalog Docs and Playground run against.
5 documented DailyWire endpoints, grouped into 5 request families — Article, Author and Headlines, plus 2 more.
9 request parameters are documented across those DailyWire endpoints, 7 of them required — the full input contract is public before you write any integration code.
5 of the 5 DailyWire endpoints ship a recorded example response, and 5 carry a documented response schema — you can code against the real JSON before the first request.
DailyWire endpoints document their error responses (400, 404, 429 and 503) alongside the success schema, so a block, a rate limit, or a missing record comes back as a typed error rather than silently empty data.
5 hosted MCP tools back the DailyWire endpoints, so an agent can call the same routes with the same parameters and the same JSON contract, with no custom glue.

Endpoint catalog
/dailywire/headlinesReturns current Daily Wire headlines for one content vertical. `section` is required and takes `news`, `opinion`, `dw-opinion`, `analysis`, `news-and-commentary`, `news-and-analysis`, `exclusive`, `entertainment`, `original`, `upstream`, `sports` or `mi-x-dw`. An empty result means the front page does not currently feature that vertical.

How to scrape DailyWire
DailyWire deliberately labels editorial formats. Keep those labels when collecting public coverage so analysis and opinion are not blended with general news. DailyWire labels News, Opinion, Analysis, News and Commentary, News and Analysis, Exclusives, Originals, and Sports separately. Preserve those editorial labels when building a political-media corpus; a commentary piece should not be counted as an additional independently reported event. Its 2026-09-26 feed included a Pennsylvania public-health authority story. Retrieve the article and keep its byline, date, section, and canonical URL so the source and format of each claim remain inspectable during comparison with other publishers. A pull on 2026-10-27 listed 12 sections; one (exclusive) returned no items, and rows carry a type field. A second pull on 2026-10-27 re-checked the 12-slug section list and the cross-section feed.
headlines accepts news, opinion, dw-opinion, analysis, news-and-commentary, news-and-analysis, exclusive, entertainment, original, upstream, sports and mi-x-dw. The inventory was sampled on 2026-09-24, so refresh it.
Verticals such as opinion and dw-opinion are commentary; label them separately from news and analysis, and note that news-and-commentary mixes both.
Article calls accept an article URL under any of the site's content-vertical prefixes.
The author route returns name, headshot, social handles when present, biography and recent articles.
exclusive responded successfully with no stories, while news returned 11 across five hours (2026-10-26 18:55 UTC to 23:55). Treat an empty list as valid.
Rows include a type field, and the news route returned 50 stories from 2026-10-25 with byline, summary and image. Opinion slugs (opinion, dw-opinion) are separate from news-and-analysis.
The sections route lists 12 slugs, including news, opinion, dw-opinion, analysis, news-and-commentary, news-and-analysis, exclusive and original. On 2026-10-30 news returned 13 headlines (all 13 also in the cross-section strip) and opinion only 2, all with bylines, summaries and images, so a slug can be nearly empty.
The cross-section news route returned 50 stories from 2026-10-28 14:45 to 2026-10-29 23:53 UTC, with bylines on 50, summaries on 49 and images on 50. That is a day and a half of output, so poll it often and enrich new URLs from the article route.
