Managed execution
Every figure below is read from the live FanDuel Research endpoint catalog — 15 endpoints, 62 documented request parameters, and 15 published response schemas — the same catalog Docs and Playground run against.
15 documented FanDuel Research endpoints, all in the Research family.
62 request parameters are documented across those FanDuel Research endpoints, 23 of them required — the full input contract is public before you write any integration code.
15 of the 15 FanDuel Research endpoints ship a recorded example response, and 15 carry a documented response schema — you can code against the real JSON before the first request.
FanDuel Research endpoints document their error responses (400, 404, 429 and 503) alongside the success schema, so a block, a rate limit, or a missing record comes back as a typed error rather than silently empty data.
15 hosted MCP tools back the FanDuel Research endpoints, so an agent can call the same routes with the same parameters and the same JSON contract, with no custom glue.

/fanduel/research/sports
Featured endpoints
/fanduel/research/sportsLists the 23 sports and topics of the FanDuel Research site (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football and basketball, golf, tennis, soccer, MMA, horse racing, casino, FanDuel Predicts and more) with the slug the other research routes take, the position codes, the team count and the player-news types each has. Pass `sport` to also get that sport's teams with the `number_fire_id` values the team filters take.
Sampled 25 Oct 2026: 23 items, 4 fields filled in every item, 5 not. team_count: 0 to 148, median 0; name: “Casino” and 22 other values.
MCP tool fanduel_research_sports
/fanduel/research/fixturesReturns the games on today's slate and in progress for the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB with status (`SCHEDULED`, `IN_PROGRESS`, `FINAL`), the game clock, each team's score and win probability, the TV network, the Sportsbook event link and the money line, spread and total prices with their market and selection ids. A team's `side` is `home` or `away` when it can be read from the event link. Pass `sport` to keep one league; a league with no games returns an empty list.
Sampled 25 Oct 2026: 9 items, 7 fields filled in every item, 1 not. scheduled_start: 2026-10-24 to 2026-10-25; status: FINAL (6), IN_PROGRESS (2), SCHEDULED (1).
MCP tool fanduel_research_fixtures
/fanduel/research/nfl-scheduleReturns one week of NFL games with kickoff time, stadium and roof type, weather, TV network, closing spread and total, status and game clock, and for each team its record, win probability, rankings, average yards, the game's box totals and its passing, rushing and receiving leaders. Games that have not finished also carry the Sportsbook event id, link and the money line, spread and total with the market and selection ids. `season_type` is `PRE`, `REGULAR` or `POST`; `week` is `0` to `4` for `PRE`, `1` to `18` for `REGULAR` and `1` to `5` for `POST`. A week with no games returns an empty list.
Sampled 25 Oct 2026: 16 items, 14 fields filled in every item. scheduled_time: 2026-09-10 to 2026-09-15; venue_type: outdoor (11), dome (3), retractable_dome (2).
MCP tool fanduel_research_nfl_schedule
/fanduel/research/player-newsReturns short player and team updates, newest first: the fact, the analysis, the news type and the player (name, position, team, `number_fire_id`, and the Sportsbook roster page, whose slug ends in the same id). With `news_type=INJURY` it is a league-wide injury feed. Available for the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL; the news types each sport has are listed by the `sports` route (the NFL has no `LINEUP`, MLB no `OUTLOOK`, the NHL only `INJURY`, `TRANSACTION` and `GAME_UPDATE`). Filter by team, or by player (id and position together).
Sampled 25 Oct 2026: 40 items, 11 fields filled in every item. published_at: 2026-10-21 to 2026-10-23; title: median 65 characters.
MCP tool fanduel_research_player_news
/fanduel/researchReturns channel metadata and the recent item summaries from FanDuel Research's official RSS feed. `summary` is the feed description, not a full article body; this endpoint does not fetch linked article pages.
Sampled 25 Oct 2026: 30 items, 6 fields filled in every item. published_at: 2026-10-24 to 2026-10-25; title: “5 NFL Best Bets and Player Props for Sunday’s NFL Matchup M…” and 29 other values.
MCP tool fanduel_research
/fanduel/research/articlesReturns a page of FanDuel Research articles (predictions, picks, prop bets, guides), newest first, without their bodies: title, description, sport, author, publish time, link, thumbnail and tags. Filter by sport, sub-category (needs a sport; cannot be combined with a date window), team (needs a sport), author, hero type and publish window. Page with `cursor` while `has_more` is true; the service reports no total.
Sampled 25 Oct 2026: 40 items, 11 fields filled in every item, 2 not. published_at: 2026-10-20 to 2026-10-25; sub_heading: “Dolphins vs Jets: 5 Best Bets and Player Props for Sunday’s…” and 5 other values.

How to scrape FanDuel Research
FanDuel Research is the editorial and numberFire projection side of FanDuel, and its newest feed is largely machine-written. The five latest articles on 2026-10-25 were all NBA game previews posted within 24 seconds of 06:45 UTC under the byline Data Skrive, in one title pattern ("Timberwolves vs. Raptors Prediction, Odds, Picks, Best Bets for Oct. 25"). Its NFL directory returned 35 team rows: 32 current franchises plus three legacy entries (Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, St. Louis Rams) that sit beside Las Vegas, Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams.
The sports route with sport nfl returns position codes (QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, DL, LB, D, K, P), five player-news types (INJURY, RECAP, TRANSACTION, GAME_UPDATE, OUTLOOK), a has_live_scoring flag and each team's number_fire_id. Article and player filters take that id, so drop the three legacy rows (ids 23, 26 and 29) by abbreviation before joining against another team table.
The articles route returns newest first, 20 per page by default and up to 50, with a next_cursor for the following page. Filters cover sport, team, player, author and a published window; sub_category cannot be combined with the window. There is no exclude-author filter, so to separate analyst pieces from the automated previews, list the authors and query by each author id.
The projection-slates route for nba on 2026-10-25 returned 9 slates: Main, All Day, two single-game slates (LAL @ UTA and MEM @ SAC) and five Snake Draft slates. Pass the chosen id to the projections route. NFL takes season and week (1 to 30) instead of a date, and golf returns its current events.
The fixtures route covers active NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB games and the nfl-schedule route a chosen week. Player news filters by the five news types, and its subject.number_fire_id feeds back into the articles player filter.

There are 32 current franchises and three legacy rows left in the service's reference data: Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers and St. Louis Rams. Match on abbreviation (LV, LAC, LA) and ignore the old ones.
Check the author field. On 2026-10-25 the newest five items were all by Data Skrive with a shared title pattern. Query the authors route, then filter articles by each author id to get a byline-specific archive.
DAILY tables need the current slate_id for that sport and day. Look it up in projection-slates first; reusing an old id, or one from another sport, is rejected.
No. They are published estimates alongside articles and game context, with no outcome guarantee.
