Fortune API endpoint
Returns the filter fields and sortable columns for one Fortune ranking list. `list` selects the ranking (default `fortune500`) and `year` a historical edition; omit `year` for the list's current year. Each search field has its field name, title, type and accepted options, and each sortable column has a title and type.
/fortune/ranking/filtersReturns a Fortune ranking list's complete filter inventory for one year: exact field names, display labels, accepted values, and sortable columns. Pass year to inspect a historical ranking; omit it for that list's current year. Fortune China 500 has a text company field and sortable columns Company, Rank, Rank of last year, Revenues ($M), and Profits ($M); its page's global search and pagination are client-side over the complete 500-row table.
Query parameters:
list (optional): a slug from /fortune/ranking/lists (104 lists as of 2026-09-23: the Fortune 500 franchise plus Fortune's award/culture rankings). Defaults to fortune500.

Values are exact and list/year-specific -- field names differ between lists (for example global500 and fortune500-europe use fg500_industry where fortune500 uses f500_industry). Large dynamic lists such as industries, headquarters cities, and states are intentionally discovered here rather than pinned into Swagger.
For fortune-china-500, search_fields contains the text field company (no finite option set), and sortable_fields contains Company, Rank, Rank of last year, Revenues ($M), and Profits ($M).
