Google Patents API endpoint
Returns the patent publications Google Patents' bulk sitemap indexes for one ISO 8601 week (format YYYY-Www, e.g. "2026-W20"): publication number, title, and detail-page URL for each. Useful for browsing recently published patents without a search query. Public data, sourced from Google Patents' own sitemap.
/googlepatents/recentBrowses the patent publications Google Patents indexes for one ISO 8601 week, letting you list recently published patents without a search query.
Query parameters:
week (required) — an ISO 8601 week designation, format YYYY-Www, e.g. 2026-W20.Response fields: week, count, results[] (publication_number, title, url), source_url, fetched_at.
A publication with detail pages in more than one language is listed once, linking to its English-language detail page when available.
An unknown or out-of-range week returns a 404.
