How this endpoint behaves
Query parameter: section is required and must be one of irish, politics, international, business, tech, science, environment, voices, investigates, factcheck, explainer, gaeilge, sport, money-diaries, quiz, climate-change, housing, cost-of-living, road-safety, courts, ukraine, gaza. Any other value returns HTTP 400.
Headlines come from the section's public listing page (typically 20 to 40 story cards) and carry a title and canonical article URL, plus, when the card shows them, type (the story label such as Investigation, FactCheck, Column, or the lead topic tag), summary, author (opinion pieces on voices) and image_url. Listing cards show only a relative time ("2 hrs ago"), so published_at is not set; use /api/v1/thejournal/news for real timestamps. Cards linking to the sister site the42.ie, and any non-story link, are dropped, so sport returns only thejournal.ie stories.
