Managed execution
Every figure below is read from the live AliExpress endpoint catalog — 8 endpoints, 30 documented request parameters, and 8 published response schemas — the same catalog Docs and Playground run against.
8 documented AliExpress endpoints, grouped into 8 request families — Categories, Category Ids and Category Products, plus 5 more.
30 request parameters are documented across those AliExpress endpoints, 13 of them required — the full input contract is public before you write any integration code.
8 of the 8 AliExpress endpoints ship a recorded example response, and 8 carry a documented response schema — you can code against the real JSON before the first request.
AliExpress endpoints document their error responses (400, 429 and 503) alongside the success schema, so a block, a rate limit, or a missing record comes back as a typed error rather than silently empty data.
8 hosted MCP tools back the AliExpress endpoints, so an agent can call the same routes with the same parameters and the same JSON contract, with no custom glue.

Endpoint catalog
/aliexpress/categoriesReturns AliExpress's category navigation taxonomy. With no parameters it lists the top-level category tabs (about 24), each with its navigation id, name, numeric platform category id and icon. Pass one tab's id as category_tab to expand that tab into its second- and third-level categories; third-level categories carry the search keyword and a ready-to-use search URL, so they can be passed to the search endpoint as q. Category ids are exposed only where AliExpress's payload actually carries them: second-level categories have no numeric platform id, so none is invented for them. This is a taxonomy surface, not a product listing.
Sampled 26 Oct 2026: 24 items, 5 fields filled in every item. name: “Automotive” and 23 other values; icon_url: ae-pic-a1.aliexpress-media.com.
MCP tool aliexpress_categories
/aliexpress/category-idsReturns the AliExpress web category ids that its own product cards carry on one listing page, with each id's parent, depth and full category path. Pass q to discover the categories of products matching a keyword, or category_id to inspect one category listing. Pass exactly one of them. The ids are the same web category ids used in /category/<id>/<slug>.html URLs and by the search endpoint's cat_id parameter; they are NOT the platform/taxonomy ids returned by the categories endpoint. A parent category listing contains products from its descendants, so inspecting a category reveals its child ids, and every returned path names that id's ancestors: the value space is discoverable by walking from a keyword or a category id rather than guessing.
Sampled 26 Oct 2026: 1 item, 4 fields filled in every item. path: median 3 entries.
MCP tool aliexpress_category_ids
/aliexpress/category-productsReturns one page (up to 60 products) of a public AliExpress category listing with the same product fields as the search endpoint: product id, title, link, image, price, currency, original price, rating, sold text, discount, SKU id, ship-from country and store name when AliExpress lists them. category_id is the AliExpress web category id from a /category/<id>/<slug>.html URL (for example 5090301 for Cellphones); the slug segment is cosmetic (the listing is selected by id) and defaults to products. The listing uses the anonymous US English/USD locale. Product-detail pages are currently unavailable through the supported HTTP profiles.
Sampled 26 Oct 2026: 60 items, 8 fields filled in every item, 4 not. ship_from: CN (45), US (5); price: 8.23 to 938.28, median 111.39.
MCP tool aliexpress_category_products
/aliexpress/trending-searchesReturns AliExpress's own discovery/trending keyword feed from its anonymous search box: the hot-search keywords it groups by category, plus its discovery and shading keyword modules. Each item carries the keyword, its display casing when different, the kind (hot, shading, discovery, history), the module's UI label, the hot-list category, and a ready-to-use search URL; keyword thumbnails are included where AliExpress supplies them. This is a keyword-discovery feed, not a product list and not a personalized recommendation: no product id, title, price or seller is returned, and AliExpress does not promise a stable order between calls. The anonymous feed carries roughly 40 hot keywords plus a few discovery/shading keywords per call; search history is empty for anonymous callers.
Sampled 26 Oct 2026: 10 items, 4 fields filled in every item, 3 not. kind: hot (7), discovery (2), shading (1); keyword: “Silicone Mould” and 9 other values.
MCP tool aliexpress_trending_searches
/aliexpress/suggestReturns AliExpress's own search-box keyword completions for a query, with a ready-to-use search URL for each suggestion. This is a suggestion/autocomplete surface, not a product feed: the upstream payload contains keyword strings only, so no product id, title, price or seller is returned. AliExpress usually offers 10-12 suggestions; each suggestion's url is the matching AliExpress search page and can be passed to the search endpoint as q.
Sampled 26 Oct 2026: 10 items, 2 fields filled in every item. keyword: “wireless earbuds” and 9 other values; url: aliexpress.com.
MCP tool aliexpress_suggest
/aliexpress/searchReturns one page (up to 60 products) of public keyword search results with product ids, titles, links, images, prices, ratings, sold text, discount, SKU id, ship-from country, and store name when AliExpress lists them. Results can be sorted and filtered by price, free shipping, the Choice program, and product attributes; list the attribute values for a keyword with the search-filters endpoint. The search uses the anonymous US English/USD locale. Product-detail pages are currently unavailable through the supported HTTP profiles.
Sampled 14 Oct 2026: 60 items, 8 fields filled in every item, 5 not. ship_from: CN (51), US (9); price: 0.33 to 2,476.59, median 6.03.
MCP tool aliexpress_search
/aliexpress/search-filtersReturns every sort value and boolean filter the search endpoint accepts, plus the product-attribute filters (brand, color, style, and so on) AliExpress offers for the keyword, as ready-to-use attr values. Attribute filters differ per keyword, so call this with the same q as the search.
Response notes
The response lists every value the search endpoint accepts for its sort and boolean filters, and the product-attribute filters AliExpress offers for this keyword. - `sort_options` lists the accepted `sort` values: `best_match`, `orders`, `price_asc`, `price_desc`. - `switches` lists the accepted boolean filter parameters: `free_shipping`, `choice`. - `attribute_groups` lists the keyword's attribute facets (brand, color, style, and so on). Each `values[].value` is ready to pass as `attr` to the search endpoint. Pick at most one value per group. - `attribute_groups` can be empty when AliExpress offers no facets for a keyword. - `total_results` is AliExpress's own estimate for the unfiltered keyword and varies between requests. Price ranges, ships-from, and the 4-star-and-up switch are not exposed: price bounds are separate `min_price` and `max_price` parameters, and the other two did not behave reliably when tested. Responses are cached for up to 1 hour per `q`; `fetched_at` is when AliExpress was last queried.
Sampled 14 Oct 2026: 17 items, 3 fields filled in every item. title: “Brand” and 16 other values; values: median 7 entries.
MCP tool aliexpress_search_filters
/aliexpress/reviewsReturns one page of public reviews and rating statistics for a numeric AliExpress product id. AliExpress currently returns up to 20 review records per page.
Sampled 14 Oct 2026: 20 items, 6 fields filled in every item. rating: 4 to 5, median 5; anonymous: true in 15 of 20.

How to scrape AliExpress
Crawlora's eight AliExpress endpoints cover category navigation, web-category ID discovery, trending searches, keyword suggestions, query-specific filter discovery, public product search, and reviews as normalized JSON with one API key. In a live check on 2026-10-07, wireless-earbud filters exposed four sort values, the free_shipping and choice switches, and query-dependent attribute groups such as color, brand, connectivity, and style. The same query's estimated result count moved from 16,491 to 10,042 between calls, so treat total_results as a changing source estimate. Fetch /aliexpress/search-filters again with the same q before using attr values; product-detail pages remain unavailable through the supported HTTP profiles.
Call /aliexpress/categories for the public taxonomy and category_tab choices. Use /aliexpress/category-ids to discover the separate web-category IDs accepted by /aliexpress/category-products and the cat_id search filter; do not substitute an ID from the taxonomy endpoint.
Use /aliexpress/trending-searches for public trend terms and /aliexpress/suggest with q for keyword suggestions. These are changing source snapshots; preserve retrieval time and the requested query.
Call /aliexpress/search-filters with the same q you plan to search. It returns the accepted sort values, free_shipping and choice switches, and keyword-specific attribute groups. Copy an attr value from this response; use at most one per group and do not reuse it for another q. Price bounds are separate min_price and max_price parameters, not filter facets.
Send q to /aliexpress/search for one page of up to 60 public product results — ids, titles, links, images, prices, ratings, and sold text. page is 1-indexed through 200; sort, min_price/max_price, free_shipping, choice, and attr narrow the search. Results use AliExpress's anonymous US English/USD locale.
Pass a numeric product_id (from a search result's id) to /aliexpress/reviews for one page of public reviews and rating statistics — up to 20 review records per page. page pages through further reviews.

Not currently — /aliexpress/search-filters discovers query-specific facets, /aliexpress/search returns keyword results, and /aliexpress/reviews returns a product's reviews and rating statistics. Product-detail pages are unavailable through the supported HTTP profiles right now.
Up to 60 products per page for a given keyword, in AliExpress's anonymous US English/USD locale. Use the page parameter to request further pages.
Call /aliexpress/search-filters with the same q as /aliexpress/search, then pass a returned attr value. Values are keyword-specific, at most one can be used per attribute group, and up to five values can be sent. total_results is AliExpress's changing estimate, not a stable inventory count.
Take the numeric id field from a /aliexpress/search result and pass it as product_id to /aliexpress/reviews. AliExpress returns up to 20 review records per page; use page to paginate further.
