Philstar author archive API

Returns one Philstar author's public archive: name, profile photo when set, and the most recent stories on the first page of the archive. Authors are identified by the numeric id in the byline link (philstar.com/authors/<id>/<name>).

How this endpoint behaves

Query parameters:

id (optional): the numeric author id, the first segment after /authors/ in the author link of a story's byline, e.g. 1805259 for https://www.philstar.com/authors/1805259/richmond-mercurio.
url (optional): an https://www.philstar.com/authors/<id> or https://www.philstar.com/authors/<id>/<name> URL, as an alternative to id.

Exactly one of id/url is required; a non-numeric id, another host or another path returns an invalid-params error. The response covers the first page of the author's archive (about 20 stories; no further pages are returned); each story has title, url, section, summary and published_at (the byline time converted from Manila time to UTC; "12:00am" stamps mean the time was not recorded). photo_url is omitted when the author has only the site's stand-in photo. An unknown author id returns a not-found error.
